So I Went on a Self-Help Binge…
It’s kind of embarrassing to admit – but I became obsessed with self-help books. I read everything. If you made a dollar and wrote a book about it – I’m sure I read it.
Here’s what I learned. The absolute, most proven way to make a fortune is by investing in real estate. Like Lex Luther said – “God ain’t making more land.”
With this wisdom in hand, I focused on absorbing every real estate trick, secret, technique and system I could get my hands on. I was fanatical. Some days I would read from dawn to dusk – and then some.
I even went out and negotiated a few deals.
Some worked. Some bombed but I kept learning (and taking notes!)
